Corey Nyhus is a cartoonist, illustrator, and educator based in New York. His comics include Death Lightning and the dustbowl horror series UNKNOWN SUPERIORS. His works of gothic horror have been featured by the Society of Illustrators and Novel Noctule.

In 2021, he received his MFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since 2019, he has been tutoring and teaching writing and the arts.

He is one half of Flying Fox and Goblin Cargo Collective, an eclectic artist-owned brand founded in collaboration with Emma Cestare.
